October 2025<\/strong> \u2013 GBS metrology GmbH is sending a clear signal for sustainability and energy efficiency: a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system has been successfully commissioned on the company\u2019s rooftop at its Ilmenau site.<\/p>\n

With the new system, we will generate a large portion of the electrical energy required for building operations ourselves. In particular, the climate control of our high-precision measurement rooms \u2013 a key factor for reliable 3D surface measurements \u2013 can now be powered largely by our own renewable energy.<\/p>\n

This not only contributes to climate protection but also strengthens our independence from external energy sources and underscores our commitment to sustainable business practices in high technology.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n
