GBS mbH Appoints New Sales Manager

As of April 1, 2017, Matthias Liedmann has taken over the sales management for 3D surface metrology at GBS mbH. Mr. Liedmann is now responsible for national and international partner and direct sales.

With the reinforcement of the sales team, GBS mbH is responding to the high demand from industry for precise 3D surface metrology for quality control in production.

Matthias Liedmann is an expert in the development, application, and sales of optical measuring devices used to verify geometric product specifications, surface structures, micro-geometries, and optical coordinate measurement. As a graduate physicist, he draws on broad expertise, which he successfully applied as a Field Application Engineer at LMI Technologies, working internationally.

“With Matthias Liedmann, we have gained a very experienced sales professional. As sales manager, he will bring new impulses and establish our products based on smartWLI technology in the German and international markets,” reveals Torsten Machleidt, Managing Director of GBS mbH.

As sales manager, Matthias Liedmann will make our new industrial sensors for 3D surface measurement accessible to a wide range of users. With the introduction of Speedytec sensors from GBS mbH, inline measurement tasks can be solved for the first time.
