Training on Measurement and Tolerancing of Surface Roughness

On September 6th and 7th, the training on measurement and tolerancing of surface roughness took place.

GBS mbH offers an annual roughness training course for production planners, test planners, quality management staff, measurement and quality technicians, production workers, and production technicians. In 2018, the event was held at a brewery in Arnstadt. Participants had the opportunity to discuss their questions about roughness measurement technology and its standards directly with the instructors. Among the lecturers was Dr. Rolf Klöden from CASE-Enterprises GmbH, who gave a presentation on the topic “Surface Roughness as a Link Between Development, Production, and Quality Assurance — Surface Roughness as a Functional Characteristic.”
